Announcement : New cohorts on COL scholarships on Coursera-Grow With Google-Udemy platforms
Reading Time: 3 min read
Due to overwhelming demand and a surplus of applications for consideration, we at COL are working with country-level coordinators in eighteen countries, and Coursera and Udemy technical staff to process registration. Due to the large volume of applications and technical challenges with bulk enrollment, we are postponing by a few days the start date for cohort 2.
We will post here the actual commencement dates for the Coursera, Coursera-Google, and the Udemy initiatives once bulk enrollment is complete.
To assure awarded learners are given adequate time, we are moving the end date for Cohort 2 to 31 May 2022.
Many of learners have sent queries to us and our country-level coordinators about their individual nomination status. Please note that you will receive an email notice ONLY IF YOU ARE APPROVED FOR A SCHOLARSHIP. Please understand that we are not able to address each individual query.
If granted a scholarship, individual leaners must confirm acceptance within 15 days. If a recipient does not accept the scholarship within 15 days, the offer will stand withdrawn.
If a recipient is inactive for a continuous period of 30 days or longer, we may reassign the scholarship. If you fail to complete any course, the scholarship could be withdrawn.
Please note that a learner will need to complete courses and download the certificate prior to closure on May 31, 2022. Access to the platforms cannot be guaranteed after that date.
